GZA In Whistler

After seeing the RZA show a few weeks ago I was pretty excited to see what GZA would be like... what a disappointment. RZA is a true performer and pro, even though the sound sucked he didn't let it get to him and made sure everyone had a good time. GZA had great sound but no personality. Standing in one spot all night, with a hand in his pocket pretty much the whole time, he clearly was not diggin it.

The best part was at the end when he left the stage someone patted him on the back to say good show(even though it sucked), and his manager had to stop him from punching the guy in the face. What a class act.

HolyFuck opened up the show and killed every inch of the stage. They used everything that had an electrical cord and made crazy music, plus a drummer and a bassist, it was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time.

Dj Raw Banks opened and played between the two sets making up for GZA's lack of personality and showmanship.

To sum it up, I would rather have a severe case of the "swine flu" than see GZA perform again.
